Patriotic Food Carving: As Imaginative As It Can Get

A tribute to nation in honour of Indian Republic Day.

Deepa Sumbaly Kaul attempt to carve fresh and colourful vegetables that revolves around the theme of our National Flag. It is an creative strategy to make it memorable with her creative enthusiasm and Patriotism.

A Tricolour candle wherein she used white radish, carrot and zucchini. Additionally she used a birthday candle. Considering it was her first attempt of this kind, end result was satisfactory but her teenager pointed out that something was missing (which was intentional though). Next day, she again indulged in Patriotic carving and came up with three separate candles with Ashoka chakra (that’s what was missing in her first carving). Vegetables used were carrot, zucchini, white radish, aubergine and kale. Plus she used edible colours too. It’s always a perk to carve a patriotic bouquet and pour out love through her carvings.
