Maida/Plain Flour, 1 ½ cups
Suji/Semolina , 2 tbsp
Mango Pulp, ½ cup
Powdered Sugar, 3 to 4 tbsp (or according to taste)
Poppy Seeds, 1 tsp
Sesame seeds,1 tsp
Oil for deep frying
Combine the mango puree, powdered sugar, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, maida, suji and melted ghee in a big bowl. Mix well and make a soft dough.
Divide the dough into small balls. Using a rolling pin, roll them out thinly. Use a little maida for dusting if required.
Cut into desired shapes (typically cut into diamond shapes) and deep fry in hot oil on low flame till light golden brown.
Remove with a slotted spoon onto paper napkins.
Allow to cool completely before storing in airtight containers.
