Launch of Punjab Grill outlet at Gurgaon

DSC07301I am just back from the launch party of second outlet of Punjab Grill at Gurgaon. If the launch party is any indication, Gurgaon-ites will whole heartedly welcome another addition to the food scene.

Amit Burman, Chairman of Lite Bite Foods (P) Ltd, who was present with his wife Divya Burman and Rohit Aggarwal, Director Lite Bite Foods, both were excited to the launch of 62nd outlet in India and mentioned about the launch of Punjab Grill’s outlet at Rajouri Garden next week. Rohit mentioned that the biggest challenge they work towards is to provide uniform experience to patrons all over the world where they have outlets. For an over 100crore company such challenges are given and understandable.

DSC07299The quawwals from Pakistan, Sabri Brothers, ruled the evening and entertained the guests amidst free flowing alcohol and interesting appetisers. Many page 3 personalities were seen flocking the scene and I could see the guests waiting for Hussain and Gauhar Khan (Zangoora, Kingdom of Dreams fame) while I left a little early for such a lovely party which Gurgaon has seen after a long time.

Just near Galleria, and at the same spot which housed Mocha few months ago, I knew the challenge at this premises is that of parking. Viraj Lamba, owner of DLF Punjab Grill, acknowledged the constraint at the venue and mentioned that permanent valet Parking that they have already worked for this restaurant will take care of the issue.

Punjab Grill is an established and respected name and I am looking forward to go back to this 3 storey outlet which will also offer Sufi music and private dining option.
