Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival at The Leela Mumbai’s Citrus

Japan’s cherry blossom festival, or hanami, is a popular event that celebrates the blooming of Japan’s numerous cherry blossom trees, called Sakura.  Held between March and May, it is a time when groups of friends and colleagues gather to enjoy food and drink, play games, sing and dance under blossom-laden branches and create a happy feeling of bonhomie.  The spirit of this festival reflects the colourful Sakura.  The Leela Mumbai welcomes you to join us in celebrating this colourful festival at Citrus all of May.

Citrus will introduce for this festival, the delicious Bento Box at a very special rate.  Also on offer along with the Bento Box will be a selection of dishes on our à la carte Japanese menu, all prepared with specially chosen Japanese ingredients.   Indulge your senses by dining on a variety of exotic Japanese dishes and wash it all down with some delicious Sake or Japanese whiskey.
