India’s first and only ISO 90012008 certified F & B magazine, FNB BUZZ was launched with much food fare on 1st of September 2016 at Hyatt Regency, Gurgaon. The magazine published by Ocean Media Private Limited, a publishing house with more than five decades of experience in technical publishing focused mainly on defence and security matters, has now forayed into a niche market that is perhaps one of the most happening and growing ones of the new millennium- food and beverage.
Padma Shri Chef Imtiaz Qureshi was the eminent person to release the first issue of the magazine on colourful occasion attended by well-known names of the culinary world- Chef SabyasachiGorai, Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi, Chef Pankaj Bhadoura and many others. Ocean media’s CEO Pawan Agarwal, through his glossy and well-designed magazine hopes to “give much needed and effective information on modernization and revolution of kitchens and make people rediscover the charm of an enchanting reading experience despite the booming audio-visual and digital information.”
Hyatt Regency, Gurgaon the hospitality partner of the evening, ramped up the show with a display of regional dance and music performance while enriching the guests’ gustatory experience by serving snacks from that particular region. Eg. Chicken and Paneer tikka while Bhangra was being performed; fried fish accompanied by Bengali folk dance etc.
The buffet laid out by Hyatt Regency, Gurgaon later on was as varied, extensive and aimed at every food lover’s heart, showcasing many regional as well as international cuisines. Thus we had a Kal Dosai with Mutton Sukka, Malabar Paratha with Kerala Fish curry having a gala time seeking favours from the guests who were allured by Mushroom Risotto, Thai Fish curry and a perfectly flambéed Crepe Suzette.
FNB BUZZ has sprung upon the food and beverage scene with a bang and is sure to create a healthy and long lasting buzz in the food sector.
