Gurgaon, April 16, 2013: Cocktails & Dreams, Speakeasy is all set to make you groove to the tunes of some fine Jazz music at ‘The JAZZ LAB’ nights, every Saturday this month! Featuring Drift- the Trio, The Jazz Lab will see a mix of Swing/bebop, Contemporary (originals) and Collaborative sets over the coming 4 weeks on the 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th of April, 08:00 pm onwards, only at Cocktails & Dreams, Speakeasy – your very own neighborhood bar.
Drift is a Delhi based Bebop and Contemporary Jazz outfit featuring Reuben Narain on Drums, Sahil Warsi on the Double Bass and Pranai Gurung on Guitars. They play an eclectic mix of their own music and fusion of classical Jazz along standards drawn from the Bebop era and interpreted in a modern way. The artists of the band draw heavily from the music of artists such as John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Dave Brubeck – mixed with modern sensibilities such as the likes of Joshua Redman and Chris Potter.
