KFC Fiery Grilled Chicken
KFC has long made an effort to move away from the fried food, unhealthy image without compromising on the flavors it’s known for. I have been waiting for them to come up with a finger lickin new recipe which is not only healthier but will make one go for the famous bucket again and again.
I took a trip to KFC on MG road, Gurgaon and decided to give the new Fiery Grilled Chicken recipe a second chance. Yes you heard me right. This recipe was originally introduced in the US over two years ago and needless to say, it never got the response KFC was hoping for. For the Indian pallet, KFC has figured out our love for spicy flavors and an appetite for all things chicken. They have hit a big six with this recipe.
I selected the four piece option which was priced at Rs 247 taxes included. The chicken came out steaming hot and was juicy and
moist. The seasoning was Delicious and the chicken was evenly coated.
The two, four, eight and the bucket of twelve pieces are priced at Rs 141, 247, 517,719 respectively. It’s pricey considering that these
are not part of any combos, but they say, you get what you pay for and in this case the chicken was Delicious and hit the spot.
Well gotta run…I’m off to KFC for my next meal!

Loved it too. The only observation I had while eating it was that the spice does not hit you immediately. The aftertaste of the first bite introduce you to the oncoming heat that is going to hit you like a rock. It only grows as more bites are taken. Good choice for a change on KFC visits.
Good observation Dhiraj, It’s like a good Vodka, hits you slowly! It’s a real winner in my books.
27 January 2012 ….after 19 years ….the best evening of my life … Thanx for posting the KFC Chicken and mentioning the G.Goose vodka .
Oh how I’ve been longing for the spicy chicken!
I had it when I was in Delhi and I’m always checking to see if they’ve brought it back here yet. Sigh… Fast food is so much better in India.
