Farah Malik is an avid member of our facebook group. She keeps sharing wonderful recipes which she makes at her house. By now we have realised that she is an authority in Mughlai recipes. Here is another interesting recipe by her.

Murgh Laziz

Murgh: 1kg (only breast and legs pieces)
Onions: 250gms – golden fried
Ginger garlic paste: 2tblsp
Haldi: 2tsp
Blanched and pureed tomaties: 4

Roasted and grind the below masala seperately preferably wet
Dhania and Garam Masala: 1tsp each
Pepper Corn: 1tsp
Elaichi-6/8
Soaked khus khus- 2tsp and grind it.

Method
Wash and pat dry the chicken
Take soya oil and ghee (1tblsp) each
Fry ginger, garlic paste and chicken
Add haldi, pepper corn and blanched tomatoe puree.
Cover the pan and cook in low heat
After 5/7 mins add wet grinded masala, khus khus and salt
Cook for another ten mins on low heat.

Best eaten wth khameeri rotis or evn hand made phulkas
